Leesburg Girls Softball League (LGSL) is the premiere softball organization in Loudoun County, serving all girls ages 4-18 who live or attend school in the greater Leesburg area.
Established in 1997, LGSL has been providing a high quality, fun and safe softball environment to all girls ages 4-18 regardless of ability or playing experience ever since.
In 2012, LGSL has partnered with Positive Coaching Alliance to ensure we are providing our coaches and parents with the tools necessary to help us create a positive, fun environment for our children to learn life lessons while playing the game of fast pitch softball. LGSL offers recreational softball for the following age groups:
- 4U Tiny Tee Ball
- 6U Tee Ball
- 8U Machine Pitch
- 10U Player Pitch
- 12U Player Pitch
- 14U Player Pitch
- 16U Player Pitch
- 18U Player Pitch
For girls who are ready for a more competitive playing environment, LGSL offers the following fastpitch travel softball for the following age groups:
- 10U Travel Softball
- 12U Travel Softball
- 14U Travel Softball
- 16U Travel Softball
- 18U Travel Softball
This approach allows our girls to grow both socially and athletically while they learn the game of softball. We provide the environment that prepares our girls to go on to play high school softball and beyond if they wish.
