LGSL will continue with the Draft format for team formation. Player evaluations will be held the first week of August. We are still working on determining which field space we can use and will email and post more information as it becomes available.

Are you interested registering as a Coach? Use the same registration link and you have the option to register at the same time as you register your player or to register as a volunteer (coach).

The next LGSL Board Meeting will be TBD. We will meet at the Revolution Indoor Facility, 318 South Street SE, Leesburg.

FIELD STATUS

LGSL Summer Camps

LGSL's 2024 Summer Camps are open to 8U & 10U players that are currently registered with LGSL. The Pitching and Hitting Fundamentals camps are for players that are playing in 8U or 10U this spring, and the Softball Fundamentals camps are open to current 8U and 10U players as well as players that will be moving up to 8U in the Fall (2018 Birth Year).

Camp size is limited to between 6 and 12 players depending on the session.

LGSL is offering the following Summer Camp sessions:

June 17-21: Pitching & Hitting Fundamentals, 10 am - 1 pm; $250 per player, Limit 6 players - 1 spot open
July 1-5: Pitching & Hitting Fundamentals, 9 am - 12 pm; $250 per player, Limit 6 players - 1 spot open
July 22-26: Softball Fundamentals, 9 am - 12 pm; $150 per player, Limit 12 players - 8 spots open
August 5-9: Softball Fundamentals, 9 am - 12 pm; $150 per player, Limit 12 players - 4 spots open
August 12-16: Softball Fundamentals, 9 am - 12 pm; $150 per player, Limit 12 players - 4 spots open

Softball Player's Family In Need After Tragic Accident

Leili Schwartz, a Junior from Woodgrove HS and a player on the Western Loudoun Senior Bandits team, passed away on Sunday 6/2/24 from injuries sustained in a car accident that happened on the way to her softball game on Saturday, 6/1. Leesburg Girls Softball League

Leesburg Girls Softball League serves all girls ages 4-18 who live or attend school in the greater Leesburg area. Established in 1997, LGSL provides a high quality, fun and safe softball environment to all girls ages 4-18 regardless of ability or playing experience.

LGSL offers recreational softball for the following age groups:

6U T-Ball
8U Machine Pitch
10U Player Pitch
12U Player Pitch Pitch
Senior Division

LGSL is a proud member of the Loudoun County Softball Alliance, a partnership of independent softball leagues in Loudoun County. This alliance allows each local league to offer a consistent, high level of competition and share best practices to ensure we all deliver the best softball experience possible for all Loudoun County residents conveniently in their own communities.
