With just 50 days until our first games, we are excited to get things kicked off with our upcoming player evaluations. Please read below and reach out to president@leesburggirlssoftball.org with any questions. 

WHERE: Michael and Son's Sportsplex, 21610 Atlantic Blvd, Sterling, VA 20166.

WHEN: Sunday, February 22nd. Evaluations will be organized by age group as follows:

• 10U - 3-3:45pm
• 12U - 4 - 4:45pm
• Seniors - 5 - 5:45pm

WHAT TO BRING: 

• Equipment - Players should bring their own, labeled, equipment (helmet, bat, face mask, and glove). Catchers should bring their own catchers gear. 
• Attire - Comfortable, athletic clothing with sneakers only, no cleats! 

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

• Players will check in at a table and be provided with a bib to put on the front of their shirt. 
• Players should check in FULLY PREPARED to play - shoes tied, restroom visits complete, stretched/warmed up, etc. - 10 - 15 minutes before their age group start time. 
• Players will move through a series of drills including fielding, throwing, and hitting. Once complete, those players wishing to be evaluated as Pitchers/Catchers will stay for additional drills. Other players are free to leave. We have a lot of players to evaluate in a short time-frame, so we ask that the players be ready to listen and move swiftly through the stations as instructed. 
• Players that are unable to attend evaluations will be placed on teams randomly at the end of each age division's draft. 
• Players will need an active Facility Pass with Dulles Sportsplex, $3 for players who have had a pass before or $5 for those that haven't. Instructions are available at:  https://yoursportspass.com/.
